Luis Jordana de Pozas

Professional background

A practicing lawyer, Luis Jordana de Pozas was an active member of the Public Prosecutor’s Service, serving in the Court of Vizcaya, the Court of Alicante, and the High Court of Justice of Madrid. For 10 years, he served as Dean of the Economic Crimes Group of the Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court of Justice of Madrid.

In this capacity, Luis represented the Public Prosecutor’s Office in a large number of legal proceedings for economic crimes of all kinds and, at the same time, coordinated the other prosecutors in the Economic Crimes Group. At the age of 34, he was awarded the Distinguished Cross, 1st Class, of the Order of San Raimundo de Peñafort.

After serving in the Public Prosecutor’s Service for 14 years, he requested voluntary leave and joined one of Spain’s largest collective law firms, where, as a Partner, he created and led the Criminal Law Department of its Madrid office for more than 25 years.

In 2023 Luis Jordana joins Molins Defensa Penal, as Managing Partner of the Molins office in Madrid.
