Professional background
A practicing lawyer since 2011, Paz Vallés Creixell holds a law degree and a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Barcelona (UB), a Master’s degree in Criminal Advocacy from the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), and a Master’s degree in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, also from the ICAB. She specializes in Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Mediation, with extensive experience in the design and management of restorative justice processes and extrajudicial conflict resolution.
She completed her training with specialized programs such as the Jury Court Course, Penitentiary Law, Criminal Cassation, Gender-Based Violence, Juvenile Jurisdiction, and the Development Program for Female Directors: Women on Boards of Directors.
She joined Molins Defensa Penal in 2014, after previously working at another criminal law firm in Barcelona. In 2023 she was promoted to Partner and appointed Director of the Large Accounts Department.
She is currently a Member of the ICAB Governing Board (2021–2025), where she chairs the Digital Transformation Commission, the Commission on Relations with the Administration and Justice, and the Drug Commission.
She has participated as an independent expert in the Barcelona City Council’s Working Group on Multiple Reoffending and, in 2024, designed the pilot plan offering legal assistance to victims of crimes committed by multiple reoffenders, allowing them to appear as private prosecutors.
She has also been a speaker at conferences on illegal occupation of buildings in Malaga and Barcelona, having participated in various forums on the subject as an expert on the prosecution of illegal occupation of buildings, and has collaborated in the development of legislative proposals on this matter.
