Professional background
Paz Vallés has been practicing law since 2011 and joined Molins Defensa Penal in 2014, after previously working at another criminal law firm in Barcelona. She specializes in Criminal Procedural Law and criminal mediation, with extensive experience in designing and managing restorative justice and out-of-court conflict resolution processes.
She holds a Master’s in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (University of Barcelona), a Master’s in Criminal Advocacy, and a Master’s in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (Barcelona Bar Association – ICAB).
She has completed specialized training programs including Jury Trials, Prison Law, Criminal Cassation, Gender-Based Violence, Juvenile Jurisdiction, and the Executive Development Program for Women on Boards (2019).
Institutional and academic activity
She is currently a Board Member of the Barcelona Bar Association (2021–2025), where she chairs the Digital Transformation Committee, the Committee on Relations with the Administration and the Judiciary, and the Drug Policy Committee.
She has participated as an independent expert in the Barcelona City Council’s Working Group on Repeat Offenders, and in 2024 she designed a pilot plan to provide free legal assistance to victims of crimes committed by repeat offenders, enabling them to act as private prosecutors.
She has also been a speaker at conferences on illegal property occupation in Málaga and Barcelona, contributing as an expert in the prosecution of these crimes and collaborating in the drafting of legislative proposals in this field.
