Dr. Ramon Ragués

Professional background

Professor of Criminal Law at Pompeu Fabra University since 2010, Dr. Ramon Ragués Vallès, PhD in Law, has over thirty years of experience dedicated to teaching and researching criminal law, which has resulted in numerous internationally recognized publications, conferences, and seminars.

Between 2000 and 2004, Dr. Ragués served as a substitute magistrate at the Provincial Court of Barcelona and has subsequently acted as an advisor to numerous public and private institutions.

He has collaborated as an academic consultant for the firm since 2008, providing legal advice and coordinating training activities through the appropriate agreements signed under Article 60 of the Law on Criminal Law (LOSU).

In addition to teaching the Law Degree at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Dr. Ramon Ragués is the director of the Master’s Degree in Law and Prosecution at the same university, and a professor of the Master’s Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University.

He regularly teaches numerous training courses for lawyers, judges, and prosecutors, both in Spain and abroad.

He is the author of several articles and publications.
