Ana Bernaola

Professional background

A practicing lawyer since 2004, Ana Bernaola holds a law degree and a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and a legal MBA in law firm management from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).

She joined the firm in 2004 in the Barcelona office, moving to the Madrid office in 2010. In 2019, she was appointed associate attorney.

She was a member of the Criminal Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) between 2007 and 2010.

She is currently a tutor in Criminal Practice for the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the University of Navarra in Madrid and has authored several articles in specialized journals on criminal law and economic criminal law.
